Movie stars, producers, directors and investors will descend upon the City of Angels for a week long celebration of film. Movies and events will be held from Chiang Mai, Bangkok to Phuket, showcasing the unique beauty, cultural diversity and the warmth and friendliness of Thai people in this, the Land of Smiles.

Now in its sixth year, the Bangkok International Film Festival has made a name for itself for their choice of a wide and eclectic film program. Movies from all corners of the globe have been featured to wide acclaim giving the event a truly INTERNATIONAL flavor. The festival has also attracted many of cinemas biggest names. Luminaries such as Oliver Stone, Michael Douglas and Jean Claude van Damme, to name just a few, have all been recent guests.
